The Barcelona Style Chair was originally designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, An instant success and has been the top choice of interior designers and architects ever since. The Barcelona Chair went on show in the German Pavilion at the Barcelona International Exhibition of 1929. It is based on an X-Shaped frame with leather strapping to support the plush, leather covered cushions for the back and seat.
