Dark Tricolour Cowhide

Our cowhides are hand selected directly from the best tanneries in Brazil. We sell both natural hair on hides and stenciled hair on hides. A cowhide that has been tanned properly – and there are many that aren’t – will not shed under normal wear. It has a clean sheen, and is tanned with a chromium process that provides suppleness and longevity underfoot. Using chromium tanning to create a superior cowhide is an expensive process; there’s no way of getting around it. So if you are offered a deal on inexpensive cowhides, beware: they were produced with an inferior tanning process!
