History: Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, the Barcelona Chair went on show in the German Pavilion at the Barcelona International Exhibition of 1929. Also known as Model No. MR90, it is based on an X-Shaped frame with leather strapping to support the plush, leather covered cushions for the back and seat.
